If you do not want to agree to these Terms of Service including the agreements incorporated by reference herein, you should not utilize our services.
ACCEPTANCE OF POLICIES These written terms supersede any verbal agreement. Terms may change without prior notice. Agreement is in force from the Payment Date. Payment of fees confirms acceptance of all policies stated with or without a signature. By using our facilities and/or by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms of Service when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference.
By reserving a practice, instruction or venue room you have agreed to the following terms and conditions. You further confirm your acceptance through payment.
You understand that your access to BlackBox practice facilities will be withdrawn if I fail to comply with terms and conditions of use and no refund shall be given.
No doors may be locked at anytime while the room is in use
You may not remove or add anything to the walls or windows without written consent from BlackBox admin.
No gum in any room in the facility
No food, gum, candy or beverage (except water) into the Red, Blue or Orange practice rooms.
No food, gum, candy or beverage on or near any instruments
Do not use instruments as tables or coasters
NO Smoking or Vaping on campus, in the facilities. No cigarette butts or other trash is to be thrown on the grounds.
You are responsible for leaving the room(s) exactly the way you found it. You are fully responsible for damages to instruments or property caused by you/your students or your guests, and will be charged to your card on file. If no card is on file, you agree to make payment upon receipt of invoice.
You will properly remove and dispose all all trash etc. prior to leaving the facility
You will not move anything not belonging to you (books, equipment, supplies or otherwise) from the practice room without permission form the owner.
You understand that no private teaching is allowed in the practice rooms except by BlackBox instructors or those who paid the instructors rental fee. Any misleading or false statements regarding the purpose of the room rental will result in immediate expulsion from the premises and no refund shall be given.
You understand that no minors are allowed in the practice rooms unless they are students/participants. All minors must be supervised by an adult at all times while on the property. Anyone allowing minors to roam the facilities unsupervised will be in violation of this agreement and will be asked to leave. No refund will be provided.
You understand that any personal property left unattended in the room for any amount of time is at risk of loss, damage, or theft. You confirm that you understand that BlackBox is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.
You agree to not intrude on other users already in a practice room.
You understand that any time over the time reserved will be invoiced at the hourly rate. No loitering in the practice rooms once your time has expired.
PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE POLICY Photographs and video of participants may be taken for BlackBox Music & Arts newsletters, website, social media, news releases and/or other promotional efforts. No compensation is provided to individuals who appear in photographs/video.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY You assume all responsibilities and waive any claim for compensation for injury incurred by your child(ren)/yourself while at BlackBox Music & Arts studio premises located at 1401 Dezarae #6, San Antonio TX 78253, or otherwise. You agree that the primary responsibility of supervising and protecting children from injury rests with you the parent/guardian or legal custodian at all times.
BlackBox owners/representatives may access/view the room in person and/or by video at anytime during your occupation. You voluntarily assume full responsibility as the renter responsible for all your guests/participants at all times whether indoors our on the grounds. You agree to assume any risks of loss, property, damage or personal injury that may be sustained by you and or guests/participant, or any damage to property owned by you while on our property and agree to indemnify and hold harmless BlackBox Music & Arts its agents, employees or servants, whether paid or volunteer, against any and all claims which may arise from any injury, to you, your guests and/child/person while on our property. No one is allowed on the stairs or upstairs. We NEVER allow anyone inside the fenced pool area. The pool is NOT for public use.
You understand that the use of BlackBox practice rooms is a privilege. You agree to be an honest, respectful, and responsible member of the practice room user community; You agree to take personal responsibilities in contributing to, maintaining, and protecting all practice room facilities, equipments, and instruments there within.
