LiL' Kids Art Classes

Little artists explore colors, shapes, and textures through fun, hands-on projects! This class encourages creativity, imagination, and early artistic confidence in a playful, supportive environment.

Ages 5 to 7 . 1x per week
60 Minutes

Elements of Art

  • Line: Draw straight, squiggly, and wiggly lines.

  • Shape: Play with circles, squares, triangles, and other simple shapes.

  • Color: Explore bright, fun colors and mixing simple shades.

  • Texture: Feel and notice rough, smooth, soft, and bumpy surfaces.

  • Space: Learn about objects in front, behind, and beside each other.


Principles of Art

  • Balance: Make your art feel steady by placing things evenly.

  • Contrast: Use light and dark or big and small shapes.

  • Emphasis: Make one part of your picture stand out.

  • Pattern: Repeat shapes or colors to make fun designs.

  • Movement: Lead the eye across your artwork with lines or shapes.

  • Unity & Variety: Make everything work together, but try adding something different to keep it fun.

Kids Art Classes

Students dive into drawing, painting, and mixed media projects they choose, while applying the fundamentals of art. This class builds skills, confidence, and a love for creating unique, thought-provoking work.
