1. What is the $45 registration fee?

This is an administrative fee.

 

2. Do you have long term contracts?

No, we offer lessons on a month to month basis. You may discontinue taking lessons at anytime. We do not give refunds so you should continue until you have completed the month. Make sure to speak with the administrator if you are having an issue we might resolve.

 

3. What do you charge for private lessons in piano, guitar, violin, saxophone or voice?

Please refer to our tuition page. Tuition is paid monthly at the 1st of the month. Months with 5 weeks incur the additional 5th lesson fee.

 

4. What do you charge for Acting Lessons?

Please refer to our tuition page. Tuition is paid monthly at the 1st of the month. Months with 5 weeks incur the additional 5th lesson fee.

 

5. How much are dance classes?

Please refer to our tuition page. Tuition is paid monthly at the 1st of the month. Months with 5 weeks incur the additional 5th lesson fee.

 

6. Can the instructor give lessons in my home? No.

 

7. Can I take private music lessons every other week?

Yes. However, you will be charged our single lesson rate. You will need to take two on hour lessons per month. Please see our Tuition page.

 

8. What times do you offer private lessons?
We have private lessons available Monday – Friday 11am to 8pm. Saturdays 11 am to 6pm. Actual times depend on the instructor and room availability.

 

9. Do you offer trial lessons?
YES and NO. As a new first time student considering voice or music, you will have an opportunity to meet with the director and an instructor and to discuss your goals, expectations while receiving feedback on your current potential.

 

Cancellations of trial lesson with less than 24hr. notice may reschedule with a $15 fee for the lesson. Only one free lesson per student. Contact the studio at 210-660-3838 and we'll set up a day and time for you.

 

Sorry but we do not offer trials for group classes. You may however, briefly observe some classes. If you sign up and are not satisfied for any reason, please contact our administrator and discuss your options. We will try our best to work with you. However, if we are unable to resolve your situation, you are not locked into any long term contracts and may stop taking classes at any time.

 

10. Are supplies included in your class fees?
Classes that require supplies generally offer an option for reimbursement to instructor the first day of class or a list to bring your own. Each class varies so please see the website for specifics pertaining to your class.

 

11. What is the latest I can register for summer classes?

Registration cut off varies per class. Some classes may allow same day registration if there is a spot available, while other classes require an exact count for specific supplies and will have an earlier cut off. Please see the website for specifics pertaining to your class.

 

12. How many students do you have per class?

 Our classes are intentionally kept small to allow for some one-on-one instruction. Most classes cap at 8–12 students but some may vary slightly.

 

13. Something unexpected came up. Can I get a refund on classes?
We do not offer refunds but you may apply funds to another class(es), gift the class to someone else, or apply funds to our merchandise.

 

14. Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept cash, checks, credit and debit cards. There is a $35 return check fee.

 

15. What is your policy for late pick up from class?

Your child’s safety is our number one concern, so we will not release any child until you have signed him/her out. However, we do not offer after class care. You will be charged a $1 per minute beginning 5 minutes after class has been dismissed.

 

16. Do you offer military or senior discounts?

We are sorry, but as a small growing business we are unable to offer these types of special discounts at this time.

 

17. Do you offer sibling/family discounts?

Yes. We offer a 10% discount for each student after the first.

 

18. Do you have a wait list for classes that are full? Yes.

 

19. What is the attire for dance class? Students should dress in sneakers and comfortable clothing that allows them to  move freely.

 

20. What is the attire for art class? Students should dress comfortably. Although we offer aprons/smocks, we find that students generally prefer not to wear them but wear clothing they don’t mind getting stained.

 

21. Do you have recitals? Yes, we have recitals two times per year plus a few opportunities for students to perform outside the studio.

 

22. Do your dancers participate in competitions? No, our sole focus is teaching the fundamentals of dance, building confidence and encouraging students to focus on their unique strengths.
